When you combine coffee with mezcal, you create a blend that can warm even the coldest heart.
According to legend, mezcal was born after a large bolt of lightning struck an agave field and created the first roasted agave plant. In other words, mezcal is a gift from heaven sent to earth for man to enjoy.
In the mountains of Oaxaca, people then started to mix the water of the gods with coffee, a great gift from Africa. But, with this recipe, you don’t have to be in the mountains of Oaxaca to try Cafe Ahumado.

Ingredients

1 1/4 Parts Montelobos Mezcal
3/4 Part Ancho Reyes
4 Parts Brewed Coffee
2 Dashes Angostura® Bitters

How to drink

Combine ingredients in a coffee cup and stir. Garnish with orange zest and cinnamon stick.
